We are now into March and so much has happend.  This whole year, I am focusing on my passion and helping others talk about theirs.  So the big question is what is your passion?  For me passion is my business and my children.  My business of Choice is Belly Buster Diet.  This program allows me to help other men and women to lose weight through a program that is not only affordable, but is also practicle.  So far Thierry my dh has lost 35 lbs and I have lost over 50.  It works and I would recommend it to anyone who is ready to get their life back under control.

My children are Stephanie 21, Emily 20 and Barry 18 who are all back in Texas and my other four are here in Maine. They are Robbie 12, Michael 8, Paul 8 and Alex 8.  Having 7 children is just as exciting as it sounds.  But we have so much to do with the kids. Schools, college, teachers, cars and trucks.  It never seems to end. My other passion is my husband.  We will be having our 10th aniversary soon, so the passion is still there thank heaven.

So have you thought about you new years resolution yet?  Will you give up eating?  Lose Weight? Be nicer to yourself?  Have you finally found the job of your dreams or the business that ends all business’.  What will make the new year better for you?  So many questions…. I got a note from a reader asking were my update was and I must admit, I got lost this weekend.  Ok, I weighed in at am a whole 3 pounds lighter and yes that was with cheating.  I must admit I baked cookies and made some candy… so atleast I lost weight .  Not perfect, but  better than gaining 3 pounds.  I also know that I am an emotional eater and really need to find something else to do with my hands when the kids or life drive me nuts… If you have any suggestions on what I can do, please let me know.

Today, my whole family is in the house.  We have been snowed in!! Me with 5 men in assorted shapes, sizes and ages.  After talking to Ginger Marks this week, I have had to evaluate my life.  For so long my whole identity has been Mom.  Let Mom fix it.  Mom will know what to do. Mom will get me out of this mess.  Now, I am learning that it is ok to up a little of mom first and defer to Dad. 

I was late posting today, but I did manage to do 2 interviews.  So I don’t feel too bad.   I have learned that even if I only put a few minutes everyday to my business, that it will all pay off.  I feel this way about my blog as well.  If I spend time thinking about new topics and how they will be received.  Sometimes, the blog is just my way to let you know that I am just like you.  Things happen to my family and things happen to yours.  I did want to share two things that have happened in the last 24 hours.  My sister called me and said she had finally read my blog and noticed that the topic was Breast Cancer.  She then told me that she had just had a scare and had gone into the hospital for a biopsy.  The results showed wacky cells, but no Cancer.  She then commented on  the fact that she saw a doctor who specialized in Breast Cancer Only… How Sad!!  To think that so many people are touched by this form of cancer that a Doctor can specialize in it!!! Will wonders never cease. 

The other interesting thing that happened is I got an email from a friend who was worried about me.  She thought I was focusing on too many businesses.  She suggested that I choose one and stick with it.  Only then would I find success.  I do agree.  Ginger would too I’m sure.  I would like to explain how I chose the business I am working.  I first and foremost have this blog and pod casts.  I love doing both and I am learning and sharing a great deal.  The next thing I am involved with and will be focusing on all this year is the Weight Loss Party Plan.   The name is Belly Buster Diet and it is very real.  I first looked at it as an opportunity to make some money. Then I realized it was a way to help others get rid of weight that is slowly killing them.  So many people need to loose and yet don’t have the money or support to go to the big chains.  I have to loose 160+ pounds.  I am not going to lie about it.  I refuse to let you think I am tall and slim, one day I will be, but not now.  So the final reason is that the founder of the company lost 90 pounds with this system and has gone on to own a number (7 or of businesses, which to me means it must work.  So whey you are feeling down or are looking at a business do what I did: Why am I in this? If I never made a penny would I regret it?  That hard, but at first I won’t make much and neither will you, but next month, that’s a different story.  Does the company give back?  Do you believe in what the founder sees?  If so it may be the perfect thing for you… If you try something and find it doesn’t work, well thats ok too.  Now you know you just have to keep looking….

This week’s guest is Ginger Marks and she is a very smart woman.  Ginger’s business is helping folks in business and she offers some very good advice.  I personally am following the advice she has given and feel much better. 

It is so hard to follow your heart, but for those of us who work at home, isn’t that why we are at home?  I want to be available for my boys.  When a doctor’s visit comes up or a hospital visit happens, I don’t want to have to feel bad because my children come first.  As I explained to another mother with special needs children, I just want to be able to pick up the Laptop and head off to the hospital and know I am still able to work.  Who is going to know where I am, but me?  I also like the ability to be an adult again.  It was getting kind of hard to talk to short people under the age of 10 and have a meaningful conversation.  So to those who are already working from home.  Bravo!! Ok, so we are getting ready for a winter storm and seemed like a good day to update my Weight Blog.  I am about to weight and see what the number is today….307.5lbs. 

I just got the first part of the diet, which is 2 weeks of detox basically.  So we shall see.  I really do like the Belly Buster Diet.  I get my own personal consultant that I talk to every week.  The cool part is that she is in Florida, while I’m in Maine.
