Be nicer to yourself?  Have you finally found the job of your dreams or the business that ends all business’.  What will make the new year better for you?  So many questions…. Most of the answers are within…  On the shows, I try to find exciting opportunities and excellent resources to help you make your life better.  Unfortunately, it is up to you to make the choices and the differences.  I can’t do it for you.  I personally have decided to make 2008 the best year of my life and all the years following it will be better than the one come.  I am changing my view of life and what I need to do to reach the success I desire….  Sandra Lynch is a wonderful example of making more of your life.  She not only has her own business, but found a way to help others with their taxes and desires to have a better and healthier life style.  Read her book it is well worth the time…

Today, my whole family is in the house.  We have been snowed in!! Me with 5 men in assorted shapes, sizes and ages.  After talking to Ginger Marks this week, I have had to evaluate my life.  For so long my whole identity has been Mom.  Let Mom fix it.  Mom will know what to do. Mom will get me out of this mess.  Now, I am learning that it is ok to up a little of mom first and defer to Dad. 

I was late posting today, but I did manage to do 2 interviews.  So I don’t feel too bad.   I have learned that even if I only put a few minutes everyday to my business, that it will all pay off.  I feel this way about my blog as well.  If I spend time thinking about new topics and how they will be received.  Sometimes, the blog is just my way to let you know that I am just like you.  Things happen to my family and things happen to yours.  I did want to share two things that have happened in the last 24 hours.  My sister called me and said she had finally read my blog and noticed that the topic was Breast Cancer.  She then told me that she had just had a scare and had gone into the hospital for a biopsy.  The results showed wacky cells, but no Cancer.  She then commented on  the fact that she saw a doctor who specialized in Breast Cancer Only… How Sad!!  To think that so many people are touched by this form of cancer that a Doctor can specialize in it!!! Will wonders never cease. 

The other interesting thing that happened is I got an email from a friend who was worried about me.  She thought I was focusing on too many businesses.  She suggested that I choose one and stick with it.  Only then would I find success.  I do agree.  Ginger would too I’m sure.  I would like to explain how I chose the business I am working.  I first and foremost have this blog and pod casts.  I love doing both and I am learning and sharing a great deal.  The next thing I am involved with and will be focusing on all this year is the Weight Loss Party Plan.   The name is Belly Buster Diet and it is very real.  I first looked at it as an opportunity to make some money. Then I realized it was a way to help others get rid of weight that is slowly killing them.  So many people need to loose and yet don’t have the money or support to go to the big chains.  I have to loose 160+ pounds.  I am not going to lie about it.  I refuse to let you think I am tall and slim, one day I will be, but not now.  So the final reason is that the founder of the company lost 90 pounds with this system and has gone on to own a number (7 or of businesses, which to me means it must work.  So whey you are feeling down or are looking at a business do what I did: Why am I in this? If I never made a penny would I regret it?  That hard, but at first I won’t make much and neither will you, but next month, that’s a different story.  Does the company give back?  Do you believe in what the founder sees?  If so it may be the perfect thing for you… If you try something and find it doesn’t work, well thats ok too.  Now you know you just have to keep looking….

This week’s guest is Ginger Marks and she is a very smart woman.  Ginger’s business is helping folks in business and she offers some very good advice.  I personally am following the advice she has given and feel much better. 

It is so hard to follow your heart, but for those of us who work at home, isn’t that why we are at home?  I want to be available for my boys.  When a doctor’s visit comes up or a hospital visit happens, I don’t want to have to feel bad because my children come first.  As I explained to another mother with special needs children, I just want to be able to pick up the Laptop and head off to the hospital and know I am still able to work.  Who is going to know where I am, but me?  I also like the ability to be an adult again.  It was getting kind of hard to talk to short people under the age of 10 and have a meaningful conversation.  So to those who are already working from home.  Bravo!! To those looking for ideas of what’s out there, keep listening… Finally to those looking for a shot in the arm and some help from experts, they are here too… Enjoy the show and keep reading the blog to see what is happening with our guests present, past and future.

Well I know it is close to Christmas, the kids are starting to get sick!! One is having problems with his stomach and the other has a sore throat and ear infection….  The joys of parenthood.  However I wouldn’t change it for anything in the world. This weekend was not the easiest for me, but this week will be better.  The children will be out of school for the Holiday break starting Dec 22 and go back to school on Jan 2nd as long as we aren’t snowed in….  I have started to follow Ginger Marks advice from this weeks show and am concentrating on my new at home business.  This Blog and Pod Cast are my joy, but it doesn’t bring in any bacon yet. 

Like many others, I was tempted to join everything and actually did put down money on three businesses.  All three are wonderful, but right now I want to focus on ONE!  Then when that one is going well and is basically on autopilot, I will start to work the one of the others and eventually, I guess I will have all three going.  The three businesses are: Belly Buster Diet, Inc, Tupperware and Jockey Person 2 Person.  I will be focusing on Belly Buster Diet for a number of reasons: 1) I need to lose weight, 2) there is no program like it on the market, 3) I believe in the product and what it stand for, 4) the owner/President is a very loving and kind woman and I want to follow her.

Working on a radio program and writing a daily blog has really made me a lot more organized.  It has also brought me into contact with a number of work at home professionals that are very good at what they do.  Some of these folks are so good at what they do and offer, that I have now joined one of their business programs.  So why is this so bad?  Because my husband is almost afraid to let me talk to anyone else for fear I will join up.

Also, for those that have written to me and asked about Alex, we just got the word today that the CT did not show a tumor or any sign of Cancer.  So we well be having a great weekend around here.  I even got a note from someone who wanted to send Alex a gift.  Instead of that, if anyone would like to do something nice for Alex, please donate a toy to Toys for Tots or pick an Angel off the Angel Tree with the Salvation Army. Even though Alex won’t get it personally, some other child who needs it more will.  Thanks for a wonderful week and I look forward to talking with you all on Monday
