Well its day 2 and how did your family enjoy last nights meal? Tonight I have a new and easy recipe for you that includes Hamburger helper and either chicken or turkey. Actually its Chicken Helper, but old habits die hard. To that mix I added 1 lbs of poultry, 1 can of black beans and 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese. The cost was broken down to Chicken Helper $1.00, Poultry 2.97, Beans .65, Cheddar Cheese .50 for a total cost of 5.12 and I served it with chips you could also do it with tortillas. for an additional cost of approximately 1.50. for a grand total of 6.62 for six or 1.10 each person. Not too bad that gives us $436.89 - 6.62= $430.27. So we are on our way. Tomorrow we have a special meal for Robbie and it is Italian in nature. For those of you interested, I am currently working on a e-book with all the recipes and shopping list for the month. It should be ready right after the end of the month.
On a different front, I thought you all might get a kick out of the latest here at Weber acres… Alex one of our triplets is not a bad kid. He goes to school regularly and seems to enjoy it and the teachers seem to enjoy him as long has he isn’t biting or attacking the little girls in his class. Today I got a call from the school saying that Alex had communicated that he didn’t feel well so I got a call from the nurse and went and got him. Of course once he got home he was very healthy. He had a Popsicle and a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Then dad gave him a hot-dog and God only knows what else. Then of course it was cookies with the brother when they got home from school and dinner. So much for school, illness and best intentions. Hope your kids are not as smart as my little Down’s Child. Have a great night.

Today is my son’s birthday and it is far from being a fools day. I do want to appologize for the fact that the blogs have not been updated lately. I just have had the blahs and haven’t been able to get over them. Now I hope I am back on track. Thank you all for your patience with me. Now on to bigger and better.
How to feed a family of 6 for $450 a month. Tonight it is Lasagna. The nice thing about this meal is that it makes enough for left overs. I used the recipe off of the box so I didn’t have to cook the noodles. The total time in the oven is about an hour and it can be made ahead so all you have to do is put it in the oven when you get home. The cost break down for me was: meat 1.99, sauce (26oz jar) $1.30, water, ricotta cheese 1.45, mozarella cheese in the bag 1.99, parmasan cheese (1/4 of the bag) 1.99, noodles (1/2 box) 1.64, 2 eggs (2/12) 1.50. so the total cost for 12 servings was 9.12/ 12 = .76 per serving. So we have two meals for $9.12. you can serve the lasagna with salad for an additional 1.99 & Italian bread for 1.50 plus a dessert of pudding or jello. Jello is about .50 for box plus water. So our total meal tonight is 13.11 which leaves us $436.89. Tomorrow we go easy…

I’d like to appologize to readers. My computer has been sick all week. I am so sorry. I am the third one in the family to have a computer crash, but the one who needs it the most. I hope it gets better. Have a great weekend and I hope you all enjoy Monday’s show.

Isn’t it amazing how the weather can make our lives seem so much brighter. I just went out and even though I can see my breath in the air, I didn’t care. The sun is shining! The kids are all at school and I am attempting to get my life back in order so I can work my business. Isn’t that always the way? Now all I need to do is get my children to feel the same way. I just walked into the triplets room and it was a mess. Clothes on the floor as well as blankets and pillows. Thank heaven it doesn’t take long to get it all back in order.
So my next question to all you wonderful readers is how do you balance your day? Obviously if the kids are home sick, you just have to wing it. If you sick, well you baby yourself and do your best, but when you’ve been off your feed for a week or two and just have to pull yourself back together, how do you do it? I have my planner and I am about to start adding notes to myself again. I have ordered new magnetic signs for the car and am hoping to get those on the car by the weekend. So its a beginning. Now all I have to do is get my 15 new clients for the month of March and I am back on track. So pray for me and lets hope it all works. I’m headed out into the sunshine. Enjoy the day….

Oh how I wish I didn’t want to write this. Today I am really having an off day. I just can’t seem to get all my energy back after the surgery and I have had trouble eating. So now I am just surviving. I am short tempered and really don’t want to be. I’m not even doing my business this week the way I planned. So its time to pick myself up and dust off my pants. One of the hardest things to do when you work at home can be just picking yourself off and forgiving yourself for having a down moment. The problems start when you ignor it all and go into a depression. Well it’s not going to happen here! So I will find more folks to do my business and more who need to lose weight and help them all. I am supermom and Wonderworker…. I will survive and make my goal for the year…..

Well today was the big day. I went to the doctor and had the last of the stiches removed and I now have permission to drive and exercise. I don’t have to go back to the doctor for 3 months!! I am so excited and to make it even better, I am down 31 pounds since I last saw the doctor!!
So I’m going to be fine. Now I have to concentrate on my business. I have 4 consultants which was the goal through then end of Febraury. Now I have to focus on getting 10 new clients by the end of the month. So how does one go about getting new clients? I think for now I will be advertising on the web and as I continue to lose weight with the plan I will be more confident about it all. My husband has even gotten on the wagon and is now 22 lbs lighter in the last 3 weeks. I’m so proud of him. There are just so many plans out there and so many try to copy each other. I went to an online party tonight and the topic was food and it was a plan similar to one I had previously heard about. Not sure what makes this one better, but according to the hostess it is… There are only a few companies I’ve found so far that are unique… If anyone wants to be on a show in the future, let me know. I am booked through the middle of April, but would love to get more done….
Just as an FYI, I am in the process of writing an e-book based on my years at Dallas Children’s Hospital. I will let you all know when it is ready to go…. Well, time to check on the boys, they have the week off from school, so back to Mom duty

Well the kids are home and so is dad. Such a differnece from the old country and the old ways, ie Texas. It has been two weeks since I went to the hospital and I am dilegently trying to get back up and running. This weeks show features Rose Dempsey who is with Avon. I had no idea how much Avon had changed since my Mother was an Avon Lady back in the ’60’s.
Passion is such a wonderful word and it can really make a difference in how you approach your life and your business. I recently joined a group that I have a link to on the first page that helps you find prosperity. The training is wonderful and the leader of the group is Kim H. Emerson who was guest early in the year. If you would like more information on making ‘08 a better year, this is a great place to start. While examining my passion, I have found that I enjoy my Talk show obviously, but I also have a desire to write. So to make a long story short, I am going to be working on an ebook for parents facing the hospital with their children. This is a topic close to my heart and I hope I can help other parents survive the experience.
Oh well, now on to more work and my needing to find 10 customers for the month of February for my Belly Buster Business. To date, I have lost 30 lbs and my husband Thierry has lost 22 lbs on this program, so I do believe in it and find that it is very easy to do. If you know anyone who needs to lose weight or wants to lose weight, have them contact me. Take care and I’ll talk to all of you tomorrow.

Well, the taxes are done and filed. Now we wait to see how quickly we will get the money back. This past November, we started putting 10% of my husbands salary in a 401K and then we have an additional 3% going into retirement. Now looking at the bills and our income, I need to really make a living. I have played for a few months with my business, but must admit when I knew I was going into the hospital, I just kind of lost it. Right now, my mind just seems to wonder and yet I have been told and do believe that this year life will become much better for our family.
I just finished our budget with all the new figures and I do hope I will not fail the test of time. So many times in the past I have thought long and hard about a business and then have let it fall to the wayside. I refuse to do that this time. How many times have we all been so close to the prize ring and then just dropped our hands? Well I have had my surgery, I have atleast another week to be released by my doctor and I will make it all happen. I will make my business and my passion prosper this year…. YOU just watch out world, I’ve come to town!!!

God my butt hurts… I had no idea laying down could hurt so much. Now I’m attempting to catchup on all my email. I have done little to nothing to promote my business and yet really don’t feel to bad about it. Shame on me….
I did manage to stay up for a number of hours and started on the email then went to get the kids at school. The snow was falling and they were some huge flakes. Next came the cleaning up around the house and then the nap. I took half of the dose that I can have for pain and the last thing I remeber is Michael asking to use my computer. The next thing it was 4 hours later. Thank God and the company that Thierry has been able to work from home this week.
The cutest thing that has happened today was Alex. He came and pulled up my shirt and looked at the 7 bandages on my tummy and gently touched them and kissed the booboos. Then a few minutes later he through himself at me. So much for gentle, but he tried. Have a great weekend folks and keep healthy. The weather has been crazy all over the country….

Hi Everyone,
I hope you are having a wonderful week. I’m so sorry not to have posted, but Monday I just had no interest. Tuesday I had no access to the computer and Wednesday I realised I didn’t have the admin address to the site memorized. So anyway, here we are on Thursday and I am finally in the land of the living and feeling so much better. I have 7 bandaids on my stomach and I am slowly starting to eat again, but I am in no hurry right now.
So here is my big question for the week, what do you do when you get sick? Do you just work from the computer and hopefully thats in bed with a laptop? Do you just stay in bed and hope the kids go to school so you can sleep and get over it all? Do you act like your well and everything is fine? For me, I’m afraid its a bit off all of that. However, this time I did stay in the hospital and my son Michael called me and said they were all feeling better at home and that when I came home they would all be careful with me. They are trying, but so far the boys and the animals all find my stomach interesting. Only two of them want to jump into my lab to be held. It could be much worth.
Oh well, its back to bed for me. We have had a winter storm going on and I am a bit tired. Take care everyone and I promise to be in touch with all of you tomorrow…
