Published by admin under Diet, Housekeeping, New Site

I want to thank all of you who have found us since the move to our .com, it has been very interesing to say the least.  I am going to be posting the old shows a week behind on the old site, but am hoping that folks find us here…

I am also hoping to do some more advertising and we now have a production company to help with our editing and commercials… so let me know what you think…

As to the weight loss, I bought a size down yesterday… slow but sure… The next few weeks will be interesting as well.  I am seriously looking at a Saturday show that is all about Weight Loss and success…  Again I would love some feedback on this….

Loving your passion

Thank you to all the people who are starting to get the word out about the site.  I love this job… Actually, I love my passion.  I get to talk to wonderful men and women and then share them with the world.  Thank you…  My question to you all is, how do you feel when a stranger says something cruel?  How do you go on and act like it never happened?  I posted this question to a group I am involved with through Skype and the answers varied from “the person must be hurting” to “you are a good target, because they know you can’t get back at them.”  I agree, the hard part whenever we hit a rut in the road is to get back up and not take it personal.  That in itself is very hard.  It has taken me years to learn it isn’t personal.  So this week when talking with Kim Emerson, it is important to know that you are not “junk” nor are you all the negative things you may have come to believe.  When you hit that bump in the road reach out to someone like Kim or a support group, cry and go on…

Housekeeping:  Jockey is a great company with lots of excellent benefits and promotions going on.  It is worth looking at them  did you know they have shoes too?  I didn’t until recently.  They also have travel pillows and are still working on their Operation Comfey Pillow Drive.  I will try and get an update on number collected so far.  Belly Buster Diet is going strong and now that its the New Year, there is a special for the month to get one-on-one mentoring as well as personal menus.  The regular yearly cost is $130 and until the end of the month, you can get all the help you want and need for $99.00 that is less than $2.50 a week…. Plus you use real food from the grocery store…just email me for details.

Any Resolutions Yet?

So have you thought about you new years resolution yet?  Will you give up eating?  Lose Weight? Be nicer to yourself?  Have you finally found the job of your dreams or the business that ends all business’.  What will make the new year better for you?  So many questions…. Most of the answers are within…  On the shows, I try to find exciting opportunities and excellent resources to help you make your life better.  Unfortunately, it is up to you to make the choices and the differences.  I can’t do it for you.  I personally have decided to make 2008 the best year of my life and all the years following it will be better than the one come.  I am changing my view of life and what I need to do to reach the success I desire….  Sandra Lynch is a wonderful example of making more of your life.  She not only has her own business, but found a way to help others with their taxes and desires to have a better and healthier life style.  Read her book it is well worth the time…

Housekeeping:  I heard from a former guest, who wanted to let you know that Jockey is offering its special to join for the month of January at $99.00 rather than the normal $199.  It’s a great company with great clothes.  They also have a sale going on with items they are retiring… Who knew.  Jockey also still has it’s Operation Comfey Pillow Project going.  for more information on either, just contact me.  If you are looking to lose weight this year, I have a special with Belly Buster Diet.  1 year all the weight you can lose + menus + weekly phone call , all for $130

Evaluate your life

Today, my whole family is in the house.  We have been snowed in!! Me with 5 men in assorted shapes, sizes and ages.  After talking to Ginger Marks this week, I have had to evaluate my life.  For so long my whole identity has been Mom.  Let Mom fix it.  Mom will know what to do. Mom will get me out of this mess.  Now, I am learning that it is ok to up a little of mom first and defer to Dad.

I was late posting today, but I did manage to do 2 interviews.  So I don’t feel too bad.   I have learned that even if I only put a few minutes everyday to my business, that it will all pay off.  I feel this way about my blog as well.  If I spend time thinking about new topics and how they will be received.  Sometimes, the blog is just my way to let you know that I am just like you.  Things happen to my family and things happen to yours.  I did want to share two things that have happened in the last 24 hours.  My sister called me and said she had finally read my blog and noticed that the topic was Breast Cancer.  She then told me that she had just had a scare and had gone into the hospital for a biopsy.  The results showed wacky cells, but no Cancer.  She then commented on  the fact that she saw a doctor who specialized in Breast Cancer Only… How Sad!!  To think that so many people are touched by this form of cancer that a Doctor can specialize in it!!! Will wonders never cease.

The other interesting thing that happened is I got an email from a friend who was worried about me.  She thought I was focusing on too many businesses.  She suggested that I choose one and stick with it.  Only then would I find success.  I do agree.  Ginger would too I’m sure.  I would like to explain how I chose the business I am working.  I first and foremost have this blog and pod casts.  I love doing both and I am learning and sharing a great deal.  The next thing I am involved with and will be focusing on all this year is the Weight Loss Party Plan.   The name is Belly Buster Diet and it is very real.  I first looked at it as an opportunity to make some money. Then I realized it was a way to help others get rid of weight that is slowly killing them.  So many people need to loose and yet don’t have the money or support to go to the big chains.  I have to loose 160+ pounds.  I am not going to lie about it.  I refuse to let you think I am tall and slim, one day I will be, but not now.  So the final reason is that the founder of the company lost 90 pounds with this system and has gone on to own a number (7 or of businesses, which to me means it must work.  So whey you are feeling down or are looking at a business do what I did: Why am I in this? If I never made a penny would I regret it?  That hard, but at first I won’t make much and neither will you, but next month, that’s a different story.  Does the company give back?  Do you believe in what the founder sees?  If so it may be the perfect thing for you… If you try something and find it doesn’t work, well thats ok too.  Now you know you just have to keep looking….

Housekeeping:  Tupperware  is working really hard to get over the recent loss it suffered from a fire at its warehouse in South Carolina, so be kind to your consultant.  They are doing their best.  Nicole Pereira is still looking for donations to her scapebook project in San DiegoJockey is still working on it Comfey Pillow Drive for soldiers over seas for information on this project contact me and I can get you the form, it tax deductable
