Today, my whole family is in the house. We have been snowed in!! Me with 5 men in assorted shapes, sizes and ages. After talking to Ginger Marks this week, I have had to evaluate my life. For so long my whole identity has been Mom. Let Mom fix it. Mom will know what to do. Mom will get me out of this mess. Now, I am learning that it is ok to up a little of mom first and defer to Dad.
I was late posting today, but I did manage to do 2 interviews. So I don’t feel too bad. I have learned that even if I only put a few minutes everyday to my business, that it will all pay off. I feel this way about my blog as well. If I spend time thinking about new topics and how they will be received. Sometimes, the blog is just my way to let you know that I am just like you. Things happen to my family and things happen to yours. I did want to share two things that have happened in the last 24 hours. My sister called me and said she had finally read my blog and noticed that the topic was Breast Cancer. She then told me that she had just had a scare and had gone into the hospital for a biopsy. The results showed wacky cells, but no Cancer. She then commented on the fact that she saw a doctor who specialized in Breast Cancer Only… How Sad!! To think that so many people are touched by this form of cancer that a Doctor can specialize in it!!! Will wonders never cease.
The other interesting thing that happened is I got an email from a friend who was worried about me. She thought I was focusing on too many businesses. She suggested that I choose one and stick with it. Only then would I find success. I do agree. Ginger would too I’m sure. I would like to explain how I chose the business I am working. I first and foremost have this blog and pod casts. I love doing both and I am learning and sharing a great deal. The next thing I am involved with and will be focusing on all this year is the Weight Loss Party Plan. The name is Belly Buster Diet and it is very real. I first looked at it as an opportunity to make some money. Then I realized it was a way to help others get rid of weight that is slowly killing them. So many people need to loose and yet don’t have the money or support to go to the big chains. I have to loose 160+ pounds. I am not going to lie about it. I refuse to let you think I am tall and slim, one day I will be, but not now. So the final reason is that the founder of the company lost 90 pounds with this system and has gone on to own a number (7 or of businesses, which to me means it must work. So whey you are feeling down or are looking at a business do what I did: Why am I in this? If I never made a penny would I regret it? That hard, but at first I won’t make much and neither will you, but next month, that’s a different story. Does the company give back? Do you believe in what the founder sees? If so it may be the perfect thing for you… If you try something and find it doesn’t work, well thats ok too. Now you know you just have to keep looking….
Housekeeping: Tupperware is working really hard to get over the recent loss it suffered from a fire at its warehouse in South Carolina, so be kind to your consultant. They are doing their best. Nicole Pereira is still looking for donations to her scapebook project in San Diego. Jockey is still working on it Comfey Pillow Drive for soldiers over seas for information on this project contact me and I can get you the form, it tax deductable

This week’s guest is Ginger Marks and she is a very smart woman. Ginger’s business is helping folks in business and she offers some very good advice. I personally am following the advice she has given and feel much better.
It is so hard to follow your heart, but for those of us who work at home, isn’t that why we are at home? I want to be available for my boys. When a doctor’s visit comes up or a hospital visit happens, I don’t want to have to feel bad because my children come first. As I explained to another mother with special needs children, I just want to be able to pick up the Laptop and head off to the hospital and know I am still able to work. Who is going to know where I am, but me? I also like the ability to be an adult again. It was getting kind of hard to talk to short people under the age of 10 and have a meaningful conversation. So to those who are already working from home. Bravo!! To those looking for ideas of what’s out there, keep listening… Finally to those looking for a shot in the arm and some help from experts, they are here too… Enjoy the show and keep reading the blog to see what is happening with our guests present, past and future.
Housekeeping: Tupperware suffered a fire recently at one of their warehouses, but according to Misty Kearn, they are trying to keep up and are bringing things in from other countries to help. If you would like to give Tupperware as a gift for the holidays, you can give Gift Certificates this year… To see what Tupperware has to offer, you can follow this link Tupperware . Also, if you are looking for a special gift to give in someone’s name or just because you want to, Operation Comfey Pillow is still on with Jockey. The cost is $22.00 and the goal has been set at 1000 pillows. For more information on this, you can contact me

Well I know it is close to Christmas, the kids are starting to get sick!! One is having problems with his stomach and the other has a sore throat and ear infection…. The joys of parenthood. However I wouldn’t change it for anything in the world. This weekend was not the easiest for me, but this week will be better. The children will be out of school for the Holiday break starting Dec 22 and go back to school on Jan 2nd as long as we aren’t snowed in…. I have started to follow Ginger Marks advice from this weeks show and am concentrating on my new at home business. This Blog and Pod Cast are my joy, but it doesn’t bring in any bacon yet.
Like many others, I was tempted to join everything and actually did put down money on three businesses. All three are wonderful, but right now I want to focus on ONE! Then when that one is going well and is basically on autopilot, I will start to work the one of the others and eventually, I guess I will have all three going. The three businesses are: Belly Buster Diet, Inc, Tupperware and Jockey Person 2 Person. I will be focusing on Belly Buster Diet for a number of reasons: 1) I need to lose weight, 2) there is no program like it on the market, 3) I believe in the product and what it stand for, 4) the owner/President is a very loving and kind woman and I want to follow her.
As to the Jockey business, it is also a great company that has not been around a long time, and I would like to mention their Operation Comfey Pillow, the goal is to gather 1000 pillows to send to the troupes overseas. The cost is $22 and that includes shipping and handling. The retail cost is $31.00. Please contact me to order one or two. I will send you the forms by email and give you the rest of the information. Please think of them this holiday season.

Hi everyone! Well today is hump day as my dad use to say. My daughter is coming up to Maine with her boyfriend in early January and I have presents in my car that still need to be put together. The gifts for the relatives this year have a Maine theme. I have candy, jelly, honey and Syrup for them, plus I found the cutest box at a shop the other day. It is blue and has a snowman kit in it. I have never seen anything like it. I doubt they will get to use it, but it will make an interesting conversation piece. I really enjoyed hearing about Pampered Chef the other day. I have even gone out and bought the ingredience to make the Taco Ring. Sounds yummy! I know the kids will get a kick out of that tonight.
I also went to a weight loss support group meeting Tuesday night. I now have an appointment with the trainer for right after the first of the year. I will have more about my weight on Saturday’s Blog… I have lots of interesting things to talk to you about then. So anyway, have a great Wednesday and hope you are all warm

I realize this is going to get boring, but it snowed again this morning. Coming from Texas, I assumed snow was just wet stuff that fell on you and made a mess… It’s not. Here you can see the actual shape of each flake. It is just amazing. One of our sons is having a little trouble with the snow over-stimulating his senses, but he is going to make it. Alex has a few autistic tendencies, but on the whole it is not an issue.
So what about Christmas? Stephanie has made a few suggestions with her Pampered Chef business and I know I have a few ideas about food, but what else can we do? I know that Nicole over at Itchin to Scrap has some adorable purses and of course Misty had some grate ideas with her Tupperware, but is that all there is?
One year I made outfits for my girls, who are now 21 and 19, but at the time it was cute. I took a White Sweat shirt and then ironed on a Santa Clause Print I found. Then I outlined it with sewing glitter from the craft store. Or one year I made a gift for my sister-in-law. I took a 12 inch Styrofoam cone and attached inexpensive ornaments to it with hot glue. I went all the way around and up that cone and she had an unusual Christmas tree as a decoration. Christmas is not about cost, but about thought. One year I even bought a couple of photo albums. I then covered them with fabric that matched the personality of the recipient. They are still used. So check out some simple crafts and see what you can come up with. My mom use to take a shoe box and line it with foil. Then she filled it with cookies… What a memory. So think, don’t just fill out a check. Make a wonderful memory this year

Working on a radio program and writing a daily blog has really made me a lot more organized. It has also brought me into contact with a number of work at home professionals that are very good at what they do. Some of these folks are so good at what they do and offer, that I have now joined one of their business programs. So why is this so bad? Because my husband is almost afraid to let me talk to anyone else for fear I will join up.
Last week I spoke to Misty Kearns with Tupperware and was so impressed by what she had done in the last 18 months, that I decided I wanted to get involved with Tupperware again. So if you want to see me shine, you can go to : http://www.my.tupperware.com/sandraweber I really do love the product. I believe so much in the Tupperware business opportunity I really do love what they have and I just can’t believe the new colors and products.
Ok, so enough of the commercial. I just wanted to mention that the next Program, available December 3rd, will feature Nicole Pereira with Itchin To Scrap. Nicole will be talking about her business and sharing some ideas for Christmas, as well as telling us more about her charity benefiting some special children out in San Diego, CA…
Also, for those that have written to me and asked about Alex, we just got the word today that the CT did not show a tumor or any sign of Cancer. So we well be having a great weekend around here. I even got a note from someone who wanted to send Alex a gift. Instead of that, if anyone would like to do something nice for Alex, please donate a toy to Toys for Tots or pick an Angel off the Angel Tree with the Salvation Army. Even though Alex won’t get it personally, some other child who needs it more will. Thanks for a wonderful week and I look forward to talking with you all on Monday

One of the great things about America is Freedom of Religion. My son got in the car from school this afternoon telling me it was the beginning of Hanukkah and also Kwanzaa. I was so amazed that we can mention religion at school. In this day and time there are so many things you have to be afraid of because of Political Correctness. We here in American take it so for granted. In 1992-1996, I lived in Indonesia. There is one official religion there and mosques are everywhere. They did allow other religions, but they were not allowed to grow and prosper. In Indonesia, if it said Muslim on your Birth Certificate it stayed that way until you died, even if you were attending a different Church .
Today, I would like to remind you, no matter what your faith, that it is a season of gratitude and of gifts to those we find special in our lives. Please reach out and give back this year. Even if it is only a dollar, it is a dollar more. Another way you can help is to donate scrap book materials to Itchin To Scrap and help Nicole Pereira with her collection of materials to supply ScrapBooks to 400 people in San Diego, Ca. You can read more about her Holiday passion on Nicole’s website

Wow, it is really snowing now. The temp is in the low 20’s and we are expecting more snow. It’s still beautiful. With the holidays coming, I might actually get to see my first White Christmas.
While I was listening to the Radio this afternoon, I overheard a comment about a tradition at a callers home to bake a Birthday Cake to Celebrate Christ’s Birthday. I realize that not everyone is Christian, but for those that are it is something to think about. Christmas should be about doing something for others as a way of giving thanks. Nicole Pereira is doing that with her scrapbook materials business. She is going to collect enough materials to make 400 packets for children and young adults who have nothing. Many of the children are in foster care and are required to have Memory Books. If you have materials sitting around or you would like to help Nicole out, please go to her site to see what you can do. www.Itchintoscrap.com .
Also for additional ideas on what to give as gifts or make for the holidays, Nicole has some wonderful ideas on her site as well as items that are already made. So swing by and let her know what you need or ask for help.
Stay Warm and thanks for being part of such a wonderful family

Well the tree is up and traditions are ago. I love the movie The Bishops Wife with Cary Grant and always put the tree up with the movie in the background. Then the lights go up outside. This year, we have a large Card in the yard, a snowman and lights around the bottom half of the house. My husband, is already planning next year. Then of course I have the Christmas music going in any room I’m in. The kids hate it, so they are enjoying their rooms a little more. What a wonderful gift!! Anyway, tonight I watched White Christmas and felt like the characters when they arrived in Vermont, America’s Winter Wonder Land, with no snow and temps in the high 60’s. Here I am in Maine with NO Snow and the beginning of a runny nose…
Oh Well, what are your traditions? Next week I am looking at ways to make extra money for the holidays and some unique custom gifts. Write me and let me know what you think would be a Unique Gift and what Traditions are timeless.
